The 4th Advanced Training Program for Safety Directors and Reserve Talents of Chemical Enterprises Opens at Tianjin University

On May 10, the opening ceremony of the 4th Advanced Training Program for Safety Directors and Reserve Talents of Chemical Enterprises, coorganized by the China Chemical Safety Association and Tianjin University, was held at the Beiyangyuan Campus of Tianjin University. Zhao Jinduo, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Organization Department of the Party Committee of Tianjin University, and Hao Jun, Member of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the China Chemical Safety Association (CCSA), delivered speeches at the ceremony.

Zhao Jinduo reviewed the history of the first three advanced training programs and the initial achievements made. He stated that the training program will continue to leverage the advantages of Tianjin University’s A-rated Chemical Engineering discipline and its cutting-edge academic research capabilities, as well as the expert think tank resources of CCSA in production safety, to cultivate high-level safety management talents with patriotism, global vision, innovative spirit, and practical skills.

 

In his speech, Hao Jun introduced that CCSA actively fulfills its mission of "making chemicals safer and life better," deeply engaging in the field of chemical production safety services. The professional service achievements of CCSA have been widely recognized by government departments and chemical enterprises. He noted that CCSA will work with Tianjin University to summarize and draw on the experience of the previous three seminars, striving to refine the curriculum for this session and further enhance the quality and standards of the program.

 

It is reported that CCSA and Tianjin University have jointly held three training programs for safety directors. The well-established training system and positive teaching outcomes have been highly recognized by past participants. This session spans one and a half years, adopting a diversified teaching model that includes online courses, intensive face-to-face lectures, thematic seminars, and corporate study tours. The online courses total 240 class hours, comprising both compulsory and elective courses. Six offline intensive training sessions will be held, during which thematic discussions will be organized to help participants digest and apply the knowledge gained, precisely addressing practical challenges in corporate safety production management and achieving effective knowledge transfer and application.

Wang Huaiyuan, Party Committee Secretary of the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Tianjin University, along with representatives from National Energy Group, Sinopec, and CNPC, as well as the 39 participants of this program, attended the opening ceremony.
