Safety Science and Technology Officially Launched
Volume 1, Issue 1 (2026) of the English scientific journal Safety Science and Technology was officially released recently, marking the launch of this international academic platform focused on the field of safety science and technology.
This first issue features 10 high-quality research papers contributed by scholars from renowned universities both in China and abroad, including domestic institutions such as Zhejiang University, Dalian University of Technology, Shandong University of Science and Technology, Hohai University, and Liaoning Technical University, as well as international universities such as The University of Queensland (Australia), the University of Salford (UK), and the University of Mines and Technology (Ghana). The 10 papers comprise 1 editorial, 2 review articles, and 7 original research articles. Their topics cover flame-retardant materials, fire safety, explosion suppression technology, safety risk assessment, environmental risk assessment, case studies in the energy industry, and mining machinery safety. Ranging from functional material development to exploration of application mechanisms, from multi-dimensional data collection to theoretical model construction, and from process parameter optimization to typical case analysis, the papers present systematic and rigorous research and exposition, providing valuable theoretical references and technical guidance for industrial practice.
Safety Science and Technology is sponsored by the China Chemical Safety Association, with Professor Wang Hao of Swinburne University of Technology (Australia) serving as Editor-in-Chief. To promote the wide dissemination of outstanding research, the journal waives all publication fees during its initial launch phase. We warmly welcome experts and scholars in the field of safety science and technology from around the world to submit their work and join us in building this high-level international academic platform.
