Call for Papers: CCSA’s Scientific Journal Safety Science and Technology
The scientific journal Safety Science and Technology, jointly launched by the China Chemical Safety Association and Wiley, officially opened its submission system and is now calling for papers from scholars worldwide.
Safety Science and Technology is dedicated to establishing a high-level communication platform for academia, industry, and policymakers, promoting theoretical breakthroughs and technological innovations in safety science, and addressing safety issues in both traditional and emerging industries. The journal's Honorary Editor-in-Chief is Lu Nianming, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Chemical Safety Association. The Founding Editor-in-Chief is Professor Wang Hao from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. The Associate Editors are Professor Maureen Hassall from the University of Queensland, Australia; Professor Wen Xiaoling from the University of Surrey, UK; Professor Deng Jun from Xi'an University of Science and Technology; Professor Hu Longhua from the University of Science and Technology of China; Professor Gao Wei from Dalian University of Technology; Professor Zhai Cheng from China University of Mining and Technology; Professor Xu Jingde from North China Institute of Science and Technology; and Professor Wang Lei from Qingdao University of Science and Technology.
The journal focuses on innovative research and practices in the global field of safety science, covering interdisciplinary topics such as Chemical Safety, Industrial Process Safety, Mine Safety, Fire Safety, Energy Storage and Transportation Safety, Environmental Risk Assessment, Occupational Health and Safety, Emergency Management, and Advanced Safety Technologies.
The scope of papers includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

- Chemical Process and Production Safety
- Fire Safety
- Safety in Energy
- Mining Safety
- Environmental/Occupational Safety, Exposure and Risk Management

Here, we sincerely invite researchers to submit highly influential innovative results (including reviews) in related fields to this journal. All accepted articles will be published online immediately and become quotable. The first issue is scheduled for publication in the first half of 2026. Articles published within the first three years of the journal's launch will not incur article publication charges.
