During the visit, Deng reviewed the previous exchanges between the two sides and assessed the market prospects of cooperation in different projects. He conveyed that the ACS, as a widely influential academic organization in chemical research, is looking forward to more pragmatic cooperation with CCSA in chemical safety research and application.

Lu welcomed the delegation and pointed out that the ACS is highly recognized in the global chemical industry with multiple academic resources, and the two sides have broad prospects for cooperation in chemical laboratory safety education, personnel training, and journals publication. He emphasized that safety education courses and personnel training in chemical laboratories are badly needed in various industries in China, including universities, research institutes and factories. He hoped that the ACS could take into account the current characteristics and practical needs of the industry, jointly develop professional and systematic skills improvement courses in laboratory safety with CCSA, so as to realize a win - win cooperation by integrating resources.
