China Chemical Safety Association and Bureau Veritas Held Exchanges on Chemical Sustainable Development
Lu Nianming, Executive Deputy Director-General, and Secretary-General of the China Chemical Safety Association (CCSA), met with Zhang Lili, Vice President of Government Affairs of Bureau Veritas on February 27. The two sides exchanged views on jointly enhancing the sustainable development of chemical safety.
Lu warmly welcomed Zhang and her delegation and introduced the core concepts and visions of the association in safety culture exploration, expert pool management, business brand development and industry safety guidance services. He pointed out that chemical safety is the cornerstone of industry development, and the association has always been committed to promoting the high-quality development of the chemical industry through expert guidance services, technology application and international cooperation.
Zhang introduced the cutting-edge experience and technologies of Bureau Veritas in global chemical safety. She stressed that the company, as an internationally renowned testing, inspection and certification (TIC) organization, has always been committed to helping chemical companies achieve the goals of safety, environmental protection and sustainable development through high-quality services and technical support. The purpose of this visit is to explore the cooperation opportunities between the two sides in chemical safety and to jointly improve the sustainable development of the chemical industry.
The two sides had an in-depth discussion on chemical safety standardization, technological innovation, risk prevention and control, and international cooperation, and looked forward to further practical cooperation in the future.
