LI Qi
LI Qi, a HAZOP Leader at QDHSE. He worked for SINOPEC for 9 years and DNV for 4 years before taking up his current role. With solid expertise in oil and gas operations, he specializes in process safety management and has more than 24 years of experience in chemical process safety to his credit.
Li has been engaged in quantitative risk analysis (QRA), risk-based inspection (RBI), HAZOP, safety instruction system ( SIS) and chemicals thermal hazards analysis etc, and investigated many chemical accidents.
To date, Li has authored more than 10 papers and three books, namely Guidance for Quantitative Risk Assessment in Petrochemical Plants, Hazard and Operability Analysis, and Guidance for Implementing Risk-based Inspection.
He attended the 6th AIChE Global Congress on Process Safety and a CCPS Technical Steering Committee meeting in Texas in 2010, and also joined a CCPS Technical Steering Committee meeting held in Texas back in 2006.
